The mission of The Fellowship of Presbyterians is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ. The Fellowship is an “umbrella organization” that includes members of the PC(USA), members of ECO, and brothers and sisters in Christ beyond these two denominations.
One of the purposes of The Fellowship is to network, resource, and serve congregations and individuals who are called to the mission of maintaining an orthodox, evangelical witness within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
The Fellowship is built around three basic principles: clearly articulated theology, covenanted order, missional ministry. To understand The Fellowship, read the Theology Project that outlines our confessions, beliefs we affirm as essential, and a proposal to nurture theological conversations across The Fellowship.
Next, prayerfully read and consider the Fellowship Covenant. Based around many of the great promises in Scripture, the Covenant is intended to help individuals and congregations articulate a form of discipleship that will eventually have a gospel impact on thoughts, words, and actions, as well as the use of money, power, influence, and sexuality — gifts of God that are often among the most misunderstood in our contemporary culture.
After reading and affirming the Covenant, the process for joining the Fellowship is simple:
- Sign and return the Individual Covenant
- Read and affirm the Essential Tenets of The Fellowship: (found on pages 5-8 of Theology)
- Complete and return the Individual Fellowship application
- Pay the annual individual membership fee of $125.00
- Sign and return the Session and Congregational Covenant
- Read and affirm the Essential Tenets of The Fellowship: (found on pages 5-8 of Theology)
- Complete and return the Session and Congregational Fellowship application
- Pay the annual congregational membership fee of $250.00
You will receive confirmation of your membership and will also receive continuing updates on events and resources, early notification of special offers, and opportunities for Fellowship members. In addition, we will connect you with other individuals and congregations who are members of the Fellowship in your region for accountability and growth in ministry.
Welcome to The Fellowship of Presbyterians!
